Thus far, there have been 4 intro variants of the theme, the same song but with different visuals:
- Faust's variant, which was featured in the beginning of episode 5 and the end of episode 40.
- The original variant of Jackson's theme, used from the Deck of Disaster until Romance of the Four Clans.
- The first updated variant, identical to the previous save for the inclusion of Dont and Charoth to the bar (used from Romance of the Four Clans through Everything Is On Fire).
- The second updated variant, which adds Inien to the bar as well (used thus far only for Liquor and Spirits and BIG WAR).
- The third updated variant and the most recent, which adds Colvin, Firi, the barkeep imp (the one with the afro), Batty and Ballast McGee to the bar scene. Animations are improved, and the beginning vista features more detail. (used for Dungeon Truck)
- In the beginning of all Jackson variants, the pages of a book flip quickly past the camera. Pausing or slowing down the video will reveal (among other things), a thank-you note from The Third Wheel, art for various types of Zeth, and notes on a [GOBLIN].
